SDPJ 92 Haute-de-Seine je jedna ze tří zvláštních jednotek, které mají pomoci kriminální policii v pařížské oblasti. Jsou dobře vycvičeni a jejich úkolem je boj proti organizované a specializované kriminalitě a zločinnosti. Pracují s nejlepšími technickými a vědeckými prostředky a informatikou. Hrdiny seriálu Oliviera Marchala, který napsal scénáře a první čtyři epizody režíroval, jsou čtyři policisté: Caplan, Morlighem, Vachewski a Roxane, kteří mají na starosti okrsek des Hauts-de-Seine mezi Neuilly a Nanterre. Quatre flics du SDPJ des Hauts-de-Seine, Eddy Caplan, Walter Morlighem, Théo Wachevski et Roxane Delgado voient leur vie basculer lorsque leur chef, Rossi, se suicide, suite à une affaire où il est injustement mis en cause. Ils franchissent alors la "ligne jaune", n'hésitant pas à contourner la loi pour parvenir à leurs fins afin de laver leur honneur et celui de leur chef.

La squadra non si rassegna all’accaduto, e decide di continuare a cercare la verità per riscattare il suo onore. I quattro, per portare alla luce la realtà dei fatti, sono disposti a varcare quella linea sottile che separa il giusto dallo sbagliato e la legge dal tornaconto personale e si immergono loro malgrado progressivamente sempre più in una spirale di violenza, morte e paranoia.

Braquo volgt de gebeurtenissen van een Parijse politie-eenheid die telkens op het randje van het legale opereert en dus het nodige geweld en intimidatie niet schuwt. De agenten worden opgeschrikt wanneer hun teamleader zelfmoord pleegt na valse beschuldigingen van corruptie. Braquo behaalde de prijs voor beste fictie op de Prix de l’Export 2011 en behaalde op de zender Canal+ 1,3 miljoen kijkers, het hoogste ooit voor een eigen serie. Sinds november loopt op de zender het tweede seizoen.
