Top K9 cops are brought together with civilian dogs alongside their handlers as they compete nose-to-nose on the ultimate K9 obstacle course.

In der Show kämpfen Teams aus Hunden und ihren Herrchen um den Titel "Top Dog" und um ein Preisgeld, das zu einem Teil an Tierhilfsorganisationen gespendet wird. Die Vierbeiner bewältigen einen Hindernisparcours, der für die K9-Hundestaffel der amerikanischen Polizei konzipiert wurde, und werden dabei von ihren Herrchen unterstützt und angefeuert.
