Rio Connection

Rio Connection takes place in the mid-1970s, when Italian and American authorities were closing in on three prominent figures of organized crime. On the run, the three men found themselves in Brazil, with new identities and a new goal: tropicalize the mafia.

Rio Connection é baseada na história real de uma quadrilha de tráfico de drogas da Europa que escolheu o Brasil como ponto estratégico de escoamento de heroína para os Estados Unidos na década de 1970.

Rio Connection spielt Mitte der 1970er Jahre, als die italienischen und amerikanischen Behörden drei prominente Vertreter des organisierten Verbrechens aufspüren. Auf der Flucht fanden sich die drei Männer in Brasilien wieder, mit neuen Identitäten und einem neuen Ziel: die Mafia zu tropenisieren.
