사랑의 안단테는 평양의 약학 박사인 한 여자와 서울의 피아니스트인 한 남자가 평화마을 입주민 선정을 위한 스마트 인공지능(AI) 시스템의 오류로 뜻하지 않게 동거하게 되며 벌어지는 이야기를 그린다.
In the near future, North and South Korea establish a "Peace Village" in order to try out during their discussion for reunification. Both nations have North and South Koreans live there for a year to help create a positive image of reunification. However, due to an error, Joo-hyung, a famous South Korean pianist, and Na-gyeong, the daughter of a high-ranking North Korean government official, are placed in the same house. For the sake of reunification, the two decide to agree to share the house for a year.

Em um futuro próximo, as Coreias do Norte e do Sul se unem para criar o "Vilarejo da Paz", um experimento ousado destinado a testar a viabilidade da reunificação. A iniciativa convida cidadãos de ambos os países a viverem juntos por um ano, com o objetivo de fomentar uma imagem positiva do processo de reunificação. Entretanto, devido a um erro administrativo, Joo Hyeong, um renomado pianista sul-coreano, e Na Gyeong, filha de um importante oficial do governo norte-coreano, acabam sendo designados para a mesma residência.
