Set in 1997 during South Korea’s financial crisis, Typhoon Trading Company follows Kang Tae-poong, the carefree son of a small business owner whose life collapses after his father’s sudden death. To protect the company his father built, Tae-poong takes over as CEO despite his inexperience, learning hard lessons about leadership, duty, and resilience. Beside him is Oh Mi-seon, the diligent bookkeeper who keeps the company afloat while supporting her family. Inspired by Tae-poong’s determination, she begins to envision her own future beyond survival. Together, they face heartbreak, loyalty, and hope as they fight to rebuild what was lost in a time when the future seemed uncertain.
