De serie gaat over Fred Schuit (Rijk de Gooyer). Hij woont in een oude volksbuurt in Amsterdam. Fred is geen makkelijke man en heeft ook op alles en iedereen commentaar. Het is dan ook niet zo gek dat hij met iedereen die op zijn pad komt ruzie maakt. Een schitterende Nederlandse serie met topniveau -zwarte- humor!
