تدور أحداث المسلسل حول مريم (غادة عبد الرزاق) وزوجها هاشم (ممدوح عبد العليم). بعد طلاق هاشم من زوجته الأولى تزوج مريم ولهما ابنة واحدة (ريهام حجاج) وابن واحد (أحمد هيتام). مريم ، امرأة قوية ذات طموحات قوية ، تريد زوجها أن يترشح للرئاسة ولن يتوقف عند أي شيء حتى تنجح. هاشم ، الذي يعمل محاميًا وصحفيًا ، يرافق مريم في السعي للحصول على مقعد الرئاسة. لكن طموحهم يثبت أنه يثير مشاكل أكثر مما كانوا يتوقعون.
