Tout comme Michael Knight et sa célèbre voiture Kitt, la Team Knight Rider (TKR), une nouvelle équipe high-tech représentant la FLAG (Fondation de la loi et du gouvernement) et possédant son propre véhicule à commande vocale, combat les pires criminels. Les membres de la TKR ont pour mission de saboter les plans d’un Général américain qui souhaite contrôler le pays. Un missile nucléaire est braqué vers Washington D.C.
