Erica Strange, la protagonista, va a tener la oportunidad con la que muchas veces soñamos: volver al pasado y elegir de forma diferente. Erica Strange, une jeune trentenaire, est persuadée que sa vie est un désastre à cause des mauvaises décisions qu'elle a prises. Elle fait alors la connaissance d'un certain Dr. Tom, un mystérieux thérapeute, qui va lui donner la possibilité de revivre les moments qu'elle regrette le plus. La trentenne Erica Strange ottiene l'opportunità di tornare indietro nel tempo e rivivere i suo momenti di maggior sconfitta: dai primi baci al ballo del liceo ai colloqui di lavoro... Erica ha la possibilità di mettere tutto a posto e sistemare la sua lunga lista di rimpianti, con la speranza che quello che ne risulterà nella sua vita presente, sia quello che effettivamente vuole. Эрика — молодая женщина, у которой жизнь пошла не так, как нужно, из-за неверных решений. Неожиданно для себя она знакомится с доктором Томом, называющим себя психотерапевтом и любящим цитировать различных знаменитых людей, который предлагает Эрике свою помощь. Он просит её составить список всех неудачных моментов из прошлого, которые она хотела бы исправить, но ей, конечно, не приходит в голову, что именно он будет делать с этим списком. Доктор Том тем временем отправляет её назад в прошлое и, умудренная своим настоящим опытом, она обретает шанс исправить ситуацию так, как считает нужным. Однако, как выясняется, исправить прошлое — не самая главная её цель, намного важнее научиться жить своим умом и понять, что хотя мнение окружающих нельзя игнорировать, нельзя ценить его выше своего собственного.
