Come to where the winter is the longest and the distances the farthest. In blowing snowstorms, the plow crews fight an eternal struggle against the forces of nature. Without them, travel in Finnmark county would stop. Stein, Lena, and Hans each have taken the challenge to keep a mountain pass clear - for them, the road is the target.

Bli med dit hvor vinteren er lengst og avstandene størst. I snøføyk og storm fører brøytemannskapene en evig kamp mot naturkreftene. Uten dem stopper Finnmark. Stein Eivind, Lena og Hans har tatt utfordringen, på hver sin fjellovergang - for dem er veien målet.
