The magical adventures of the Trolls.
In 1996, The Trolls are small creatures who live in an almost perpetual state of happiness, singing, dancing and hugging all day. However, they are discovered by the Bergens, large miserable creatures, who can feel happy only after eating a Troll. The Bergens imprison the trolls and eat them every year on a special occasion, called Trollstice. The Trolls, led by their king, King Peppy, with his baby daughter, Princess Poppy, escape through underground tunnels on the day of Trollstice, when Prince Gristle Jr. was going to eat his first Troll. Enraged, Gristle Jr.’s father King Gristle Sr. banishes Chef, who was in charge of preparing for Trollstice.
Queen Poppy and Branch make a surprising discovery — there are other Troll worlds beyond their own, and their distinct differences create big clashes between these various tribes. When a mysterious threat puts all of the Trolls across the land in danger, Poppy, Branch, and their band of friends must embark on an epic quest to create harmony among the feuding Trolls to unite them against certain doom.
When Branch’s brother, Floyd, is kidnapped for his musical talents by a pair of nefarious pop-star villains, Branch and Poppy embark on a harrowing and emotional journey to reunite the other brothers and rescue Floyd from a fate even worse than pop-culture obscurity.
After Queen Poppy and the Trolls took away Trollstice from Bergen Town, the Bergens have no holidays to celebrate. After receiving cards from the Bergens (all of different days of the week or times of a day), Poppy comes up with an idea, to give the Bergens some of their holidays to celebrate the season. The queen enlists her friend Branch (who is new at this "happy" thing), and the Snack Pack, to travel to Bergen town by bus, driven by Cloud Guy (much to Branch's annoyance). After the trolls travel through a crazy wormhole, Poppy, Branch and the Snack Pack arrive in Bergen town, to give the Bergens some holidays to celebrate.
As the holidays near, Queen Poppy plans the first annual Trolls Kingdom Secret Holiday Gift Swap. Things take an unexpected turn, however, when she and Branch draw each other’s name. Meanwhile, Tiny Diamond comes down with a bad case of writers’ block trying to think of a special holiday rap for his dad.
The upbeat adventures of Poppy, Branch and the rest of the residents of Troll Village, as they keep the party going in their forest.
Inspired by the beloved DreamWorks Animation films, this series is the next chapter in the hair-raising adventures of the trolls. Now that Poppy knows there are other musical trolls scattered throughout the forest, she bottles up her endless positivity and invites delegates from every troll tribe in the forest to live together in harmony in a grand experiment she calls TrollsTopia!
