A dachshund mix with a broken leg is surrendered by her owners. Can Dr. Love repair the fracture or is it too late? After a dog's owner passes away, Jason notices a potential chronic injury that could make him un-adoptable.

    After Kristin receives an email from a shelter located at the other end of the state, she must quickly find a way to save two puppies before they are euthanized. Also, an emaciated pit bull covered in mange has been rescued by a volunteer. The staff is appalled by his condition but works to rehabilitate him. Meanwhile, Kristin must find a foster parent willing to take such a sick dog.

Can DeDe trap two fertile males before the day ends?

    In an effort to raise awareness about animal welfare, Caroline pushes past her shyness and goes on the tv and radio, but her appearances don't run as smoothly as she planned. After a cat is abandoned at Pet Helper's doorstep, the staff encounters a dangerous intake.

    With Pet Helpers overflowing with kittens, Caroline's adoption event at a local shopping mall is wildly successful. Suddenly the staff is facing a public relations nightmare as they scramble to meet the demand for more and more kittens. One free-spirited feline goes through some special training with Van, a local expert, to try and make him more adoptable. Also, a sweet pit-bull puppy that was rescued from a drug bust is turned in to Pet Helpers by animal control. Nicole leads the effort to rehabilitate the puppy, but will his past haunt his future?

    Nicole and Ed work to rehabilitate two emaciated puppies that were taken in from a local animal control facility. Can they rejuvenate these little guys or are they too far gone? While Jason and Brian search for a group of feral puppies they discover a newly abandoned dog amongst the pack. And, a cage reactive dog is pushing potential adopters away. Can the staff make her more presentable while trying to find her forever home?

Will they all make it down the runway and find a forever home?

Also, a shy stray and her nine newborn puppies need to be placed into foster care immediately. Can the staff find them a home this close to a major holiday?

    A local couple rescues a super-emaciated dog that had been locked up in a chicken coop. Since the dog is too sick to stay in the shelter, Bethany struggles to find a suitable foster family before the approaching holidays. Meanwhile, Nicole and Ed work to get the dog healthy enough for even the most special foster situation. Van, the expert trainer, is brought in to try and socialize Melete, an adult feral dog that has been living with Brian. In spite of their best efforts, is it too late to teach this old dog new tricks and have it become comfortable with other humans?

    DeDe tries to trap an entire family of feral kittens before freezing weather rolls in. Once the kittens are secured, DeDe and the staff face the problem of socializing these semi-wild kitties enough for adoption. Pet Helpers tries to help another local shelter by taking in a large group of dogs. Once they arrive, Donya and Sara realize that they all have health and/or behavior issues, including one feral puppy.
