製薬会社のMR・友永孝（遠藤憲一）は、ある日突然、見知らぬ男女から電車内での痴漢の疑いをかけられる。友永は大事な接待の約束があり、その場を逃げ去ろうとするが、駆け付けた交番勤務の新田真人（伊藤淳史）が抵抗する友永を逮捕。新人巡査の新田は初めての手柄をあげる。 警察署に連行された友永は終始無実を訴える。しかし、その言葉に耳を貸す者はなく容疑否認のまま送検、起訴されることになる。
