    Wing Fu, brings the bonds to the USA to buy war planes for an unnamed country, and quickly loses them to Quong Lee, a Eurasian underworld chief.

  • S01E02 The Curtain Falls

    The Bonds are re-taken by Red Barry.

  • S01E03 The Decoy

    • November 1, 1938

    Ballet dancer Natasha, representing a ruthless group of Russians, acquires the bonds.

  • S01E04 High Stakes

    • November 8, 1938

    Barry gets the bonds back.

  • S01E05 Desperate Chances

    • November 15, 1938

    Hong Kong Charlie, an agent for Wing Fu, goes after Barry to get the bonds, but isn't successful, and is killed.

  • S01E06 The Human Target

    • November 22, 1938

    Valentine Vane, aka Harry Dicer, a criminal investigator, takes the bonds from Barry.

  • S01E07 Midnight Tragedy

    • November 29, 1938

    Quong Lee re-acquires the bonds again.

  • S01E08 The Devil's Disguise

    • December 6, 1938

    Lyceum Theatre (where Natasha dances) manager C. E. Mannix pops up with them in chapter eight, and the question of the day is how did he get them from Quong Lee? The answer is , though portrayed by two different people, William Ruhl and Frank Lackteen, Mannix and Quong Lee, for the "storyline" are one and the same as the Oriental makeup is only a disguise.

  • S01E09 Between Two Fires

    Two Russians, Petrov and Igor grab the bonds, but Barry just as quickly grabs them back.

  • S01E10 The False Trail

    • December 20, 1938

    Somehow (keep up the best you can) Wing Fu has the bonds.

  • S01E11 Heavy Odds

    • December 27, 1938

    Mannix gets the bonds again.

  • S01E12 The Enemy Within

    • January 3, 1939

    Mannix hides them in Natacha's trunk and Vane steals the bonds, and Mannix promptly shoots Vane.

  • S01E13 Mission of Mercy

    • January 10, 1939

    Mannix recovers the bonds again. But, since chapter thirteen is the concluding chapter, his ownership doesn't last long.
