香港作為美食天堂，貌似世界各地的菜式都可以在這彈丸之地中找到，而大部份餐廳都會以「正宗XXX菜」或是「所有材料都從XXX原產地運到」作為賣點，但究竟未曾到訪過當地的香港人又如何確認菜式夠「正宗」? 為了尋找答案，一直「被演藝事業耽誤的美食家」 – 黃秋生，夥同認識了接近二十年的名廚好友 - 張錦祥(Ricky Cheung)，展開他們首次的美食之旅。
