市川ヒロシの同名漫画を伊原六花主演で実写化。伊原は、育ちが良く真面目で高飛車な性格の委員長を、小西詠斗が問題児だが料理の才能は抜群の吉田を演じる。委員長は、これまでどんぶり飯を食べたことがなかったが、吉田が作った親子丼をきっかけにどんぶり飯の魅力に目覚め、吉田に引かれていく。脚本は池田テツヒロが手掛ける。
