第二次大戦下、満州と日本の２つの祖國に翻弄された女優・李香蘭の半生を描いた感動の実話ドラマ！人気女優から一転して戦犯の容疑を受け、後に女優として復活し國會議員にもなった李香蘭。日本、中國の２つの顔を持たなければならなかった彼女の苦悩とは…。李香蘭が歌った「何日君再來」「蘇州夜曲」「夜來香」などの楽曲や、出演映畫を交えながら、２つの祖國の間で揺れ動く一人の女性の姿を描く。満州編と上海編の２話収錄。 テレビ東京系列で放送されたテレビドラマである。タイトルの通り李香蘭の半生を描いた內容になっている。2008年12月29日・30日にテレビ東京系列で再放送された。
