הסדרה "סיני" עוסקת במתיישבים בסיני שעלו על הקרקע, יישבו ופיתחו את האזור, ונאלצו כעבור עשור לשלם את מחיר השלום ולהתפנות. שני הפרקים משלבים ארכיונים רבים ונדירים מאותה תקופה. הרגע בו פונתה העיר ימית באפריל 1982 היה לקו שבר ביחסים שבין המדינה לאזרחיה. ההתנגדות הגדולה שגילו התושבים ותומכיהם נגד הפינוי עמדה להפוך למלחמת אחים, והדחפורים שפירקו את הבתים הייתה לסמל של תקופה.
