Two words, shit sandwich. It’s Botchamania 277: Yoshi’s Woolly World Wrestling Entertainment! Thanks To… MK Mckinnan and Trent Seven for being very polite considering they would have been justified slapping the shit out of me. The match they’re talking about was at CZW Down With the Sickness 2011 against BLK Jeez and Joker. And yes, it was awful. BUT THEY’RE GOOD NOW, GO FOLLOW THEM. Codster9 for suggesting Randall from Recess because I don’t know anybody called Randall. Alex Ewing for suggesting that Smash Mouth song. Brad Smith for the awesome Ed, Edd and Eddy CZW lever. Music… TOMAHAWKMAN STAGE by Capcom Sound Team (Mega Man 6) All Star by Smash Mouth (Mario Paint Composer) by phantomtaco132 Bentley Bears It All (Crystal Castles [Atari 2600]) by Anonymous DoD Contestant Ode To Joy by Ludwig van Beethoven Notes… It’s amazing to see the biggest wrestling company in the world somehow manages to mess up the audio for big events. Fastlane and it’s quiet-arse crowd was bad enough but at Elimination Chamber nearly every spot-call could be heard clear as day, no matter how well the wrestlers tried to hide it. I didn’t put every example in as too much spot-calling in the videos annoys some so I just put the best examples in. Plus the whole point of EVERYONE TALKS TOO MUCH is mocking bad spot-calling, so when the issue is with the mics/the tech guys it doesn’t seem fair. Cena’s got no excuse though. You may disagree on other teams stopping other teams pin-fall attempts in elimination matches, but it literally makes no sense so I stand by it. I’ve done the Full Metal Jacket audio before for Homicide in the Steel Asylum match, but it’s too good to use just once. Kevin Owens vs. John Cena was the highlight of a weird PPV. Raw and WWE PPV are generally great at the minute though. There was a lot that couldn’t be fit into this video thanks to how messy the IC Title Chamber match ended up being. So it means the next v

That review could have been said for most WWE PPVs of the last few years. Eddie Kingston’s done an intro before but I don’t care. He scared me on Twitter for ages by repeatedly asking me ”when are we fighting?” The AJ Styles table is hopefully one that ‘works’. It’s hard to tell sometime. Argos is the first Sin Cara’s brother. This episode was hugely delayed because my SSD died on it’s arse and then when I got a replacement, I was moving house. The Kingston brands are supposed to last about five years, this killed itself after two and a half, must have been all that shitty wrestling. So the special thing for the 350th episode is this getting made. If you’ve sent me something like an ending or a clip, don’t worry about it not being in THIS episode. This one is held together with duct tape and prayer (and that’s just the hard drive). Because of the huge delay, obvious things like IWA-MS Elbow Guy and AAA TripleMania are clearly absent because of the fifteen minute time limit. So they’ll be in the next vid, honest. Especially considering IWA-MS Elbow Guy sent in a video assuring people he wasn’t dead. Summerslam 2017 was a hell of a slog but the main event, Usos vs. New Day and Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Not The Shield were worth watching. But whatever your feelings were, we got a new EVERYONE TALKS TOO MUCH intro from Braun so hooray! Best Summerslam since 1992. TREE FIDDY was mandatory. ”Evacuated” is from the first episode of The Wire Season Five. Because of relentless re-watching, I will never forget the correct way to use that term. The music from the botch bit is from the cool Mega Drive tribute called Duck Game. I love it (but don’t play random people online, it’s worse than COD.) Catchphrase was a popular game show in the 90s in the UK. I don’t apologise to the Americans who want to see Bob Barker or something, the rest of the world put up with The Ball Family, you can put up with UK stuff. ”I got that line fucking wrong” is from Bottom, another UK classic from the 90s. The Brain On Drugs advert is older than 90% of the viewers but I think it still works. I actually didn’t think Enzo’s version of Eat The Feet (or Eat Defeat, whichever one it is) was that bad because I’m so used to seeing Enzo’s unique style of wrestling. I was

Fuck me dead, Triplemania. Where to begin? I can’t remember the last time an entire event dominated a Botchamania. Victory Road 2011 or Elimination Chamber 2015 probably. DJ Z, Aerostar and others were involved in fun matches but the bad bits were SO FUCKING bad that it cancelled those out. Easily the worst PPV of the year. What’s the worst PPV of the year so far, Battleground? That was like caviar compared to this dog food. Here’s Kevin Gill’s length defence of the commentary at the event (in the interest of fairness): ”The ring announcer announced winners before matches were over in some cases. The ring music of winner was played before matches ended in some cases. The Spanish announce team sat out the “key to glory matches” that we were asked to jump on commentary for right before they went to the ring. We had no names for any of the around a dozen people in these two matches. And no one went through the Spanish announce table at any time which is just wrong! The trios match features team members fighting each other for some reason. The team battle royal had lumberjacks surrounding tjenring and TEN teams of trios aka teams of 3, except in the case of team global force who were all seperate individuals. 2 of them inexplicably fought each other and disappeared from the screen never to be seen again, while a possibly socially lubricated JJ threw tortillas and beer at the crowd. Ps the lumberjacks all disappeared as well. There were no onscreen identifying graphics for ANYONE. No one in the crowd recognized ray escoprion in street clothes but I’m a bad commentator because I also didn’t recognize him. Meltzer reports backstage production people did not have a show format. Rules were ignored so it made me Cautious to emphasize rules or stips until I saw them actually be enforced. And finally, maybe someone can smarten up the LuchaBlog community to the concept of announcers being given guidelines to work with. That w

”I made a mistake” is from Get Carter. It was the first thing I could think of involving ”brits” and ”messing up.” Sin Cara’s new gear match is from months ago, I gambled on them not using them for ages to make it better in hindsight. And it paid off, Cara’s still not been on TV. In the time it took to use Cornette in a clip in GFW, he left. There was a wrestler in the 70s called Hercules Cortez, this wasn’t him. Alan4L assures me the reason he got Jurn Simmons and Matt Riddle mixed up was because he watched Matt Riddle vs. WALTER from PROGRESS immediately before commentating that wXw match. When I say ”many lucha fans were angry” I’m going by that one guy on Squared Circle comparing not knowing Wagner’s catchphrase to not knowing Macho Man said ”ooooh yeah” a lot. Pretty sure WWE only lost to WWF and Jesse Ventura in lawsuits.

That’s supposed to be a ring-post hiding Cesaro’s teeth. It’s a hard thing to place over Marge Simpson and look normal. Yes I know Cesaro didn’t lose teeth, they went inside him but I’m working with what I’ve got here. The film with Death playing Cluedo is Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. It’s way better than the first film. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THE RULES is of course The Big Lebowski. Jesus don’t tell me you’re reading this description to find out about that film. The GFW commentator said on Twitter he meant Bobby Roode was jumping from NXT to Raw. Of course he did. Considering all the stuff that gets sent to me and I live in the UK, I’m surprised I only found out about that PROGRESS Three-Way Tag Match recently. I assume everyone in the crowd was paid off with shut-up money. A bunch of people suggested the Shrek kick but oldgregch actually made the ending so he gets the thanks. I went to Germany for wXw and it shows how many frigging WWE PPVs (network specials) there are now as there’s been two since the last Botchamania and TLC is soon too. I mean it’s great and all because it’s keeping the Botchamania boat afloat but I’ve already forgotten most of the matches from No Mercy. I’ll not forget Braun vs. Brock though which is my vote for Biggest Letdown 2017.

TLC was better than expected thanks to meningitis but yet in the modern world of a million hours of wrestling a week, was still forgotten a few days later even with Angle and Styles. But that’s always going to happen when you make the PPVs DREAM MATCH FACTORIES with nothing affecting the weekly shows. No idea what the point of Kalisto’s CWC title reign was. Ditto Tozawa, but at least Kalisto gives better promos. Cuphead was a great game but fuck playing it again for A+ ranks. Avalanche is a nice guy so he did his best to play a dick. Bad Bones was more convincing as a dick because he did his video the day of the table not-breaking, whereas Avalanche had to be interupted playing Gears of War. Christi Jaynes’ dive off the top is being discussed on Twitter because people can’t believe she was trying to go corner-to-corner off the top rope, which is something not even King Ricochet could pull off. But it also doesn’t make sense for Saraya Knight to walk towards her and even less sense for Jaynes to see Saraya hasn’t walked out the corner and not come down off the top rope or…ah whatever. Get Jesse Ventura on it. NJPW was weird in 2002, Kendo Kashin took on Daijiro Matsui (?!) and Great Khali was in a main event tag match. The cameras don’t show (as the editing team did their job) but Julian Nero missed the knee-drop on Da Mack, which is why he was trying to kick out. Ref must not have noticed it which is why he counted the pin despite Mack kicking out so Nero could presumably do it again and hit. When he’s shrugging at 6:14 he’s looking right at me in the crowd, unsure if it was deliberate but we had a moment. I shrugged back, couldn’t think what else to do. If you don’t watch Raw every week, Corey & Cole have been prodding Booker T during every Jason Jordan match mostly because there’s not much to talk about him other than his deadbeat dad Kurt Angle. So they get bored and turn on Booker who has been doing his best to fill

Yeah sorry for this not being on a Friday as usual, was waiting for some clips from some guys who will remain nameless. It’s usually my fault so I’m happy to be able to blame someone else. Was going to add the appropriate botches from Raw this week to this but then there was about three minutes worth of fuck to add and I hit my 15 minute time limit so the next video will be a doozy. Impact BFG wasn’t flat-out awful but it wasn’t great either. Slammiversary destroyed this show, with LAX vs. oVe being the highlight and everything else being forgotten quickly. Loads of Canadian fans sent the fan-cam footage of the PWA tables match so the guy who shot it proprly sent me the properly-shot footage. May use the fan-cam stuff later because lots of people have seen it but we’ll see. Didn’t mean to use this much Sonic Mania music. Unless you enjoy it, in which case I did. I was at Raw and Smackdown in Manchester and have nothing to report apart from DAMMIT they edited out Enzo apologising very quickly for messing his words up. They work fast, these fuckers. I’ll be at ICW Fear & Loathing (or couldn’t you tell with the sneaky plug in the corner of the intro) so if you see worn-out looking DJ Qualls-type, make sure to say ”hi”.

Survivor Series was so full of botches, what a gift. The first accidental elimination, first one since 1996? Yeesh. On the plus side, Shield vs. New Day, Usos vs. Bar and Lesnar vs. Styles were all great. Jim Cornette’s rant on Halloween Havoc 1997 has sadly aged well. ”You are a legend but exactly how many albums did Frank Sinatra sell last year?” There were so many Raw proposals and Kalisto entrances there wasn’t any space for a big ass indie botches bit, sorry. Oh fuck, missed the camera crew falling over Nikki Storm. NEXT VID NEXT VID promise Me and ICW are chummy so I asked if the William Grange bit was deliberate and they insist it wasn’t, so fuck

To quote Jim Cornette, ”I don’t know what they got for putting a live mic in front of Sarah Logan but I hope it was at least 5-10 years.” Thanks for increasing the life-span of this series Sarah. The IWA-MS tryout kid going splat (a lot of that happening in IWA-MS recently) was OK. Nothing a hotdog couldn’t fix. I debated on including Booker T’s Simoleon comments, it’s close enough to sound like something nerdy to be acceptable on here where good wrestling is ruined with geek stuff but not that bad in the overall scheme of Booker T things. The Impact triple-incorrect-name wrong isn’t fake as some have asked. Hey a perfectly acceptable BACK AND TO THE LEFT. It’s been a while. Love that Impact is pre-recorded and they still left that in. DDT are mostly silly so the press conference is hardly being ruined, but it made me laugh and I have friends who can translate Japanese so eh. I’ve no idea who what Drake & Josh is, hopefully you do.

Kalisto getting blasted in the face fucking sucks and I’m not advocating people throwing shit at wrestlers, at least do it outside so they have a chance to hit you back. I know it’s all well and good me saying this while also featuring the video in Botchamania so I’m having my cake and eating it and you’re right. But still, don’t do that shit. I think it’s sad that Ziggler had that entrance fuck up on Smackdown and no-one messaged me about it, meaning no-one noticed or cared. I get messaged every time someone so much as stutters yet this one went un-noticed. Clash Of Champions was skippable. Whether or not being dull is worse than being bad is debatable but it’s on-par with Battleground this year as Worst Network Special/Most Skippable Show. Pretty sure Nick Jackson meant to ”fall” at PWG but I’m sure he didn’t intend on landing on his head in the process…which meant I could finally use that ”retired Nick Jackson” clip from months ago. Thanks Nick! I was there live at ICW Fear & Loathing when Rey no-showed his own entrance. Apparently allegedly maybe there wasn’t any monitor backstage so he didn’t know he was up. I don’t know if that’s true but I know ICW are a lovely bunch of lads and everyone else made their way to the ring on time so who knows? The Southside Tables Match is my favourite thing of the year, well done Joseph Conners. The David Allen Coe ending is one of the easiest crap jokes to make but that didn’t stop me. I usually try and avoid anime endings because the majority of the ones submitted expect you to know what the anime is and that’s the joke. This one works even if you don’t like that weeb pillow-wife filth that isn’t JoJo.

It’s been a few weeks since the last episode which causes people to freak out and send me HWHEN BOTHC tweets, the reason was ”lack of botches.” Luckily the solution is always simply waiting another week and it starts raining botches. Audio from the eye-poke is from Three Stooges, I think that reference is 1000 times older than most of the people reading this. No idea why they’d show a replay of the Balor/Rollins match and have the commentators shit all over the ref rather than go ”oh he was using his hand to adjust” or whatever. I also don’t know why Booker started pissing himself laughing but I’m Ok with that. WAIT A MINUTE. I featured the Banks/Haskins match in the Worst Finishes of 2017 video but it’s not been in Botchamania yet. Yeah I’m that anal. I’m trying harder with the title graphics now I’ve noticed nearly every other video series on YT has them moving or at least looking nice whereas mine hang in the air like a fart in an elevator. Lemme know if they’re good or bad. Other than that thanks for watching and riding on the botch train, hope you enjoyed your trip.

Raw 25 was exactly what it was advertised as: A Jerry Lewis telethon of Legends and old stars trotted out to remind us what 1998 was like. I laughed a lot at the saltiness of the Manhattan Centre because I am a miserable human being. If you haven’t seen Super Dave’s appearance on Norm’s video podcast, I recommend it. I don’t listen/watch any other podcast apart from Gilbert Gottfried’s. D-X + jeep + fake cannon = TANK TANK TANK BETRAYAL is from Halo. I think it’s still in the games, haven’t played it since 3. The Daniel Bryan entrance failure is from Smackdown a few weeks ago (same episode as Dolph’s music failure) but I try and keep variety on this show so it’s been pushed back like an Impact recording Everyone with ears and eyes sent in the Mixed Match Challenge spot-call so thanks According to Luchablog on Twitter, Drone posted on FB insisting he wasn’t drunk it was simply sleep medication. He then removed the FB post so who knows. Apparently Wrestling Memes did the Austin Car ending months ago but screw him, I waited until Rick & Morty name-dropped him for no reason so joke’s on him. I coudn’t think of any tasteful or appropriate way to tie an Enzo joke into the video, which is probably for the best so even though I try and be somewhat relevant with the content, this time it’s an assortment of crap non-problematic jokes. Yes that ending was by Little Kuriboh. I thanked him for the Yuri On Ice video and he told me it was Devilman Crybaby so clearly I’m on the ball. Who’s going to win the Rumble? Fuck knows, I’ve never been right so I say Reigns.

Sorry for the delay, last week was such a busy week filled with little sleep and not much time to sit down and digest the 180 hours of wrestling that happened this week so I apologise for not meeting my own deadlines, hopefully this longer-than-usual episode makes up for it. And if it doesn’t, gimme money on Patreon and I’ll save up for that time machine. And what a week to be busy. The Rumble, NXT Takeover, Raw, Smackdown, NXT, 205 Live, Mixed Match Challenge, Booker out, Coachman in, Spud debuts, new Raw tag champs, 5 Star Wrestling starts, Booker threatening to beat Graves if he sees him…being a wrestling fan is like being a diabetic in a sweet shop, you can only realistically eat so much before dying. I’ve never seen Cat In The Hat, just that one scene on YouTube. I watch a lot of shit films but I’ve never been able to find anyone sit through and endure it. The Guru was enough for me. Greg Hamilton claims he didn’t forget Lince Dorado’s name and the pause was something else, but I wanted to make a crap joke in the video. If you message me saying ”that wasn’t Justin Roberts, please have a word with yourself. I thought Alunda Blayze was putting on an act. I also used to think Booker was pretending to play an angry, confused old man on commentary so don’t ask me for any lottery numbers. For all those watching with kids: I’m sorry for making you watch Peppa Pig for the 60th time today. The Brock vs. Braun moment made our entire room go OH SHIT OH SHIT IT’S REAL IT’S REAL and was the highlight of a garbage fire of a match. I enjoyed the Women’s Rumble but me giving it further compliments will be taken as me enjoying the botches so maybe it’s better for me to be quiet. I’m serious though, as serious as I am about missing Booker vs. Graves. I love Dream so I’m half-sad about having to include his stuff with Hero, but he was still over as fucking fuck regardless so he’ll be OK. The people who accuse me of adjus

This is a special-length episode due to being away last weekend in Germany for wXw, so hope you enjoy the amount of crap I’ve shoved in here from Raw, Smackdown, 205 Live, Mixed Match Challenge, Elimination Chamber and Fast Lane. Oh and if you were at wXw and saw me fuck up, I don’t have the footage yet but when I do get it, it’ll be in here don’t worry. A load of people suggested the Elimination Chamber/Lion King idea so I credit everyone. I hope Tyrone is still relevant. All the 5 Star Wrestling footage was from week 3 and I didn’t use all the mistakes because I wanted some variety. In fairness to them, episodes 2 and 4 were practically clean but they made up for it with 5. If you’re wondering what the big deal is, this is a company on national TV in the UK & Ireland. It’s insane. I debated putting Sami’s baseball massacre in due to the gruesome injury but people requested it so I get to blame people. Who aren’t here to defend themselves. That 205 Live bit aired live, some have said ”it was deliberate to give Maverick character” which is one of the worst excuses I’ve ever heard. I’m flattered wrestlers have started re-enacting bits of Botchamania live on shows. It’s the equivalent to checking betting websites while at a call centre.

I don’t watch many NJPW shows a year but it’s a testament to how good the wrestlers were that they were able to overcome shitty editing and bad-but-got-better commentary to put on a hell of a show. Omega x Ibushi vs. Bullet Club is the best and I am obviously saying that because of the gay elements and it has nothing to do with me noticing they’re coming to the UK and wanting free tickets OH NO I’ve always loved NJPW, my favourite wrestler is El Samurai Defiant Wrestling in Newcastle was a nice night, I’m not going to criticize them when they brought WALTER to Newcastle. Primate’s had to retire due a severe jaw injury, he hasn’t died. I’ve literally been waiting for WWE to upload that one episode of WCCW and checking every week to see if they’ve uploaded it as every other part of Parade Of Champions 2 has been put online except this one. Next BM will be Wrestlemania so there’s a good chance it’ll be even longer than this episode. If your ending/clip submission hasn’t been used, it’s because it was too similar to something already in the video, I try and have variety as much as possible in this so don’t feel bad. Unless it sucked, in which case you should feel bad.

It’s on a different day than usual but the Network Special was on a Friday and Titus nearly broke my phone so yeah. Decided to mix the endings with Titus so he doesn’t get run into the ground (unlike in Saudi Arabia). If you’ve sent an ending that’s similar to the ones featured, sorry it’s pretty much first-come first-served with these things. Nice of Titus to take one for the team on a seven hour show absolutely loaded with mistakes, maybe because of the time or the heat or the WHY WOULD YOU HAVE THAT FINISH FOR REIGNS VS. LESNAR, WHO BOOKED THAT WITHOUT TRYING IT OUT FIRST, FIRE HIM/HER Unsure why that one turnbuckle caused so much issue for Impact, which was a shame as the show was pretty good outside of that and the work experience lad they’re still allowing to do the video production I love the idea that an entire generation is going to see Titus O’Neil’s flop the same way as old fuckers like me see Shockmaster. It’s very heart-warming in a weird way. Thanks for saving what was going to be an unimpressive episode with Graves saying ”bullet club” as the highlight Genuinely amazed wXw put that match on their Now service when it was filmed weeks ago previously. I wasn’t a huge fan of TotalBiscuit or anything like that but he hailed from either Spennymoor or Darlington which is a short bus ride from where I hail from (Bishop Auckland) so I respect the hell out of him for existing near me. He tweeted one time about enjoying the Undertale music in Botchamania so there’s that too, R.I.P. Posh Geordie. I don’t want to hear any arguments about whether or not Lashley headlined Wrestlemania. Main event? Sure (with some reservations) but headlined? Lord no, that was Cena vs. HBK. End of. There were many possibilities for the FAKE WALL bit but I’m happy with the Quake and Zelda references. I doubt WCW Millennium Tour 2000 will ever appear on the Network so enjoy these sparse few clips of David Flair vs. Vampiro and Scott Hall vs. Cameraman. There’s no special reason for it to have taken this long for the last episode of 5 Star Wrestling to appear, I’ve got a non-wrestling video job and watching Raw, Smackdown etc. every week pushed it to the ”do next week” file. There was a ref fuck up from the show but the ref in question politely ask it not appear in the video and I have a ”if someone asks to have it not included, I don’t include it” policy to justify me being a piece of shit the other 95% of the time. 5 Star never made the Top 10 most viewed shows of the week on the channel it aired on so I’m sure the 180 people who saw it will be devastated. Also not in this video: The clip of the PWA show with the dude setting himself on fire. A wrestler from the show politely asked it not be included as apparently PWA are embarrassed by it going viral and people thinking that’s what the company is like. Plus setting yourself on fire sans shirt is fairly fucking brutal. And yeah, I’m appearing at Starrcade doing a panel. How it’s going to work is something that will need to be figured out pretty soon but with Funches, Casio and TONY FUCKING SCHAVIONE on the panel who cares. I’ll also be at All I

It’s been a very long four weeks since the last video due to my hard drive crapping out. Luckily I’d backed up most things but everything needed to be re-installed and whatnot so apologies for the delay but the important thing is my copy of Red Alert 2 still works. R.I.P. Vader, a wrestler I liked as a kid because of Boy Meets World and loved as an adult when I could discover his feud with Sting. R.I.P. Coachman’s credibility as a commentator, holy shit what the fuck happened. MITB was a fun show if you skipped Mahal/Reigns and Charlotte/Asuka. NXT was great as usual aside from that miss from Black. I’ve never see a wrestler literally quit a match (aside from the Luger vs. Brody cage match if that counts) so thanks Emil. I’m sure everyone’s going to inform me that the reason for the WWE UK Triple Threat match being announced as a Four-Way was because Jinny was supposed to be in it but got hurt so they re-shot it, that’s fine but this was shown a week later and no-one edited that out? EC3 must have brought some of those Work Experience kids when he left Impact because their TV has been pre-recorded and fine for months First CZW bit in over eight months I think. I virtually gave up on watching the product as I have little interest in it but people kept on sending me clips so if it’s once a year and there’s no death match bits included I’m sure you people won’t mind as long as we ge a lever-pull and that Zandig sound-bite Those are my attempts at referencing ketamine during the Flair bit. Yeah it ain’t great but it stops me horsing around WWE aired clips from Victory Road 2011 in one of those WAIT WHAT moments in the Hardy 24 documentary and aired it without commentary so you could hear Bischoff’s instructions clear as day for the first time which is amazing (for me) On the other hand, Bayley shouting YOU AIN’T SHIT was likely planned but people will want to see/hear it so there you go. The clip after it is Tank Abbot yelling I COULD FUCKING KILL YOU from Superbrawl X because I had nothing else That’s everything so thanks again for WAIT FUCK is this the first video in months to not feature Simpsons and/or Sonic Mania music? I didn’t think the Sin Cara clip was that bad but only the basis of seeing a Frankensteiner off the top rope to the apron go so much worse elsewhere. But the people spoke and DEMOCRACCYY I’m in the group that enjoyed the fans cheering a clock over Rollins vs. Ziggler because who the fuck thought having an Iron Man match over the IC Title in a dead-feud after 5 hours of wrestling was a good idea? Slammiversary XV was a great show, Impact may have issues behind the scenes but their PPVs have been consistently fun, especially the LAX vs. Original LAX feud The wXw clips are from their annual out-take special, I didn’t put everything in as I’m sure they’d love that so go check out their Now service for the rest. Thanks Melanie Grey for doing the SEND FOR THE MAN line That MSG Royal Rumble 1994 show is a beautiful find and the best thing is: WWE filmed at least some of it as this was the show The Quebecers won the titles when Raw was on at the same time (think it was the only day they could book MSG or something) so maybe we’ll see it on the Network one day I’ve had that Bo Dallas ending ready for about a year and a half, waiting for Bo to actually win something so it works. I never gave up Some of the music choices have been ”songs I’ve used before but different console/ports/remixes” as my HD killed my huge playlist of songs I’ve used so sorry if you’re one of the crazy Windjammers that’s been watching these for ten years going HEY HE USED THAT SONG FOR A TNA PPV IN 2012 Sorry for the gap of three weeks between videos but with a real life job, I’m doing my best to spin plates and get these done on a regular basis but honestly, it may be easier these going to a once-monthly thing. Given up on Dailymotion and it’s bizarre insistence on telling people ”the user has geo-blocked this in your country” when I click DO NOT GEO BLOCK ANYWHERE, ALLOW ALL COUNTRIES repeatedly. The advantage of Dailymotion is videos rarely get removed but the negative is if there’s a problem, they will never get back to you. So continuing to upload while this is happening is a waste of time and results in ”why have you blocked this in England, don’t you live there too?” messages. Lashley butchering Rockin’ Robin was brutal but I guess it didn’t help that Elias played it at 33% speed but I’m not a guitar player so eh. Cole shouting BLISS TAPS was amazing, someone sent a message that said ”my small child noticed this” and no shit. Dead people and rocks also saw it. The wXw wrestlers were lovely in real life so it thrilled them to tweet me ”you’re welcome” after their tables match. Danke. I’ve used HBK-while-completely-fucked-up’s ”teeth down throat” bit before but I only recently found out LOD mocked it a few weeks later. I don’t want to brag but I was happy with how that Tom & Jerry ending turned out. The timeline is all messed up but I think enough of it works for me to go ”OK I’ve made some crap but THIS was ok.”

Well this episode has taken a while to come out, to say the least. The original plan was to air it at Starrcast because I was told we’d be OK showing copyrighted material and the Fite App would simply show the crowd’s reaction but they changed it when I got there and we ended up playing like six clips haha. So then I edited in some All In botches and the Bella’s dives because they were awesome. The anime at the start is JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure because the rule is ”all anime is shit apart from jojo.” Originally Summerslam was going to be first but Triplemania is much more deserving of the headline position as WWE’s big show didn’t have Vampiro farting, demanding music during a run-in when he’s ringside, Jack Evans possibly shooting on Chessman, Fenix blading and Pena’s sister taking a dive to the face. I freely admit I don’t enjoy lucha so I’m almost sorry to be ruining AAA’s big show for fans of lucha but when a guy is YELLING for his FUCKING MUSIC to be played live on air, it’s hard to ignore. I totally think Rousey’s ARE YOU READY was part of her cocky act as she destroyed Bliss but Coach bungled things with his speech as usual and made people think she was calling spots. But people asked for it and I aim to please so eh. Also trimmed down the JFK BACK AND TO THE LEFT as people are right, that bit can draaaag. I’ve been looking for footage of that Nash MTV clip for years, I love YouTube. All In was awesome and I definitely haven’t been co-opted with the rest of wrestling media, honest. I will be typing more when I have got my sleep pattern back on track and have got Manchester Media Con out of the way. Oh and move house. I picked a hell of a time to go to Starrcast huh. Also to everybody I bumped into, spoke with and enjoyed the company of at Starrcast, thank you. The pleasure was all mine, it was an awesome experience to meet you all in person and to eat shit food together. See you next time!

I know Triple H got injured during the tag match, I’m not mocking that. Everything else about that match is fair game though. Roy Jones Jr. has more dignity in 2018 than those four, currently the most botched match of the year for me with Kane’s mask falling off, HBK’s no-catch moonsault and the HHH/Undi Irish Whip. Evolution ended up being one of the best WWE shows of the year due to the last three matches delivering (even The Bellas) which is more than can be said for Crown Jewel, an event so bad WWE would prefer to mention Buck Zumhofe before Saudi Arabia again. I’ve used the GET ROYALLY F****D song before but it’s so damn catchy and I never miss an episode of MaiNinja’s Salt series. I’m positive I’ve used Toejam Jammin’ too but music-wise I’m biding my time until Smash Ultimate’s OST gets leaked because nearly everything good has been used over the last twelve (jesus) years. The Eddie Gilbert vs jobber match can be found on NWA World Championship Wrestling 12/10/88 A bunch of people sent their version of Take On Me/F**k On Me but none of them slowed the audio to match the dramatic chorus so they looked nice but sounded crap. I’m not ungrateful but when it’s important to the fun-ness of the idea then it’s gotta be fixed or done myself. RandoChris apparently made his video under the influence of drugs. As opposed to all the tee-total people making the others. It’s been four long weeks since the last video, I know that’s basically an eternity in wrestling/youtube years but my life is a lot busier than it used to be I’m afraid. I work full-time and my spare time has been less spare due to the joys of the outside world and also buying a Switch to beat up Super Mario Odyssey. So part of me is sorry for the wait but the other half of me isn’t, because I’m not wasting my time outside of this (apart from doing those fucking ‘walk in a circle’ challenges on SMO, they’re almost as bad as the sheep walking bits.)

It was heard on the grap-line that AJ Styles got into a heated argument with the ref after the Starrcade match which is why the show abruptly ends after a quick pose from AJ, so the rules may not matter to YOU dear viewer but they mean a lot to The Face That Used To Run The Place The ref in the AAA match was Rudo but so were Blue Demon Jr. and Kross so I have no fucking clue what was going on there If you’ve sent a Simpsons ending and are surprised to not see it here, it’s because sometimes you have mix it up with other things. I know that’s rich from me but people on the BM FB are quick to point out that there’s a lot of it and you have to listen to people (when it works for you) Yeah another 4-week gap since the last video. Life sucks. Hey the first NEVER MIND THAT SHIT HERE COMES MONGO in years, thanks WWE Network! I’ve been informed Sasha Banks hit the spot as she intended, she just wants to prove she’s a hard-working motherlover. Banks if you’re reading this: PEOPLE LIKE YOU, STOP DYING. Yeah, fan cam footage. Botchamania has resorted to house show footage from 1994, further proof I’m about to be taken outside and shot by Gallows & Anderson. As people have been asking: no I don’t intend to stop doing these because Botch Club has been announced. There’s been no letter, e-mail or knock on the door from Stamford so until that happens I’m going to botch away until I run out of Simpsons references or video game music, whichever happens first.

Kofi and Xavier’s double-team wasn’t botched, only one foot touched the ground (even if Xavier fell on him) but Lashley’s elimination still causes me to scratch my head. They didn’t show a replay as I think Rollins was expecting Lashley to go all the way over, Lashley realised no help was coming so he let go like the guy in the wheelchair from Alien Resurrection.

It’s a shame Crown Jewel didn’t have a monumental fuck-up like the previous Saudia shows, even Tyson Fury wasn’t *that* bad all things considering his competition was Undertaker vs. Goldberg and Titus vs. Ring. I need a logo or mascot to appear whenever HE DIDN’T GET ALL OF IT is said. Probably a bit too hard on the WASH YOUR HANDS bit but I just got back from Germany and finding out Trump has banned all travel from there to USA, along with the news that OTT Scrappermania has been cancelled and Wrestlemania will likely be too have got me ever-so-slightly over-cautious. That being said, the extra week away has meant there’s been a load of good botches so there’s some positivity. XThreeee is an up-and-coming YouTuber/social media guy and I reached out to him to do a bit for Botchamania to prove there’s more than WhatCulture, Cultaholic and Wrestletalk out there talking about wrestling and dumb-shit. Happy to have him and am going to continue to have Guest Stars reading out descriptions of botches where there’s not relevant shoot interview available…but next time I’ll make sure they know who the people are (“As-i-ah” ahahahahahaha). And me without a good night’s sleep over-compensates with caffeine which leads to me getting distracted with a forced Evangelion ending rather than focusing on finishing the actual video. Apart from that, Wrestlemania was obviously low on botches this year due to the whole “we pre-recorded it so we’d be the dumbest company in the world if we didn’t edit out the mistakes and spot-calls” so if you have complaints please direct them to Stephanie McMahon. Wrestlemania 36 will go down as the weirdest WM of all time so Wrestlemania 32 with it’s Ryder title win and Saiyans exiting via cereal boxes can finally rest easy. Music… Let’s walk toward the universe by Hiroaki Sano (Division Guardian: Twinkle-Star) Airship Fortress by Shinobu Tanaka (Mario Kart DS) Thanks To… Odie Kenodi for the fabulous intro MLP_Shad for pointing out the 2K18 audio Self-hating Jusin Valencia for the ICW NY table Vinny Rattlocke for himself Jen Louise for the lovely reading kimberly magnuson for the amazing Metalocalypse ending Remi Steele for continuing the GTA Robert Stone feud Steve Williams/aeonlinear for his magnum opus Notes… Summerslam was way better than expected (if you can stomach the Thunderdome, overly-lit, fake crowd production) in terms of in-ring action. NXT was better than Portland too and I don’t know why people were tweeting me “hey lots of stuff for Botchamania!” during the ladder match because a sunset flip wasn’t perfectly hit. It’s a five man ladder match, not Gotch/Hackenschmidt. AEW Dynamite has been a blast too, I’m glad I’m here to point out the negatives when wrestling is very slowly crawling back to normal. Covering the Thunderdome shit-posting is fun because it means I get to preach HEY NOW, SHOWING KKK & EXECUTION CLIPS IS TOO FAR when I’m sat at home laughing at Benoit’s sudden re-appearance. We’ve all got our different sensibilities I guess and maybe I’m getting old but I think shit-posting with stuff like Mike Awesome or DSP clips or even K-Pop fancams is funnier than Liveleak clips. Far Cry 3 Never Die. Hope you enjoy Jen Louise, I’m trying to feature more than just the same five pale UK lads that dominate YouTube videos. And she’s good crack (when she’s not promising to drink you under the table followed by going home first). “why’s there two different full-screen YouTube videos?” OH THAT’S A GOOD QUESTION. The first one went up fine then was unavailable for a few days despite it saying “PUBLIC” in the settings. Apparently this happened to a few other people so it was an internal YouTube issue so I uploaded another

Music… March Ahead by Yuka Tsujiyoko, Taishi Senda (Paper Mario) Super Koopa Bros, World 1 by Yoshito Hirano, Yuka Tsujiyoko (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door) Thanks To… Larry Legend, Ortiz, Santana, Jaka, Pinkie Sanchez & Monsta Mack for the ending they filmed years ago but I’ve only just used this week because it’s super-long (so I cut the intro to make room for more botches) Seth Money for the Moxley fan cam Gary Cassidy for asking Moxley about it during the AEW Post-Show Hurricane Helms for Hurricane Helms Excalibur for continuing to yell I AM THE TABLE That Retro for inspiring the GO BIG SHOW bit Ever-Rise/3.0 for possibly intentionally saying TALK TOO MUCH twice in one segment A.M.MO, The Lowest of the Low for BJW’s glass This episode’s guest reader: Wrestletalk & Under Consoletation’s Luke Owen! Mercy The Buzzard for the Shaun Of The Dead ending chuck_rick for the Angle ending lennon riley for the Fall Guys ending Codster for the Blazing Saddles ending Remi Steele for the SMB & Mortal Kombat endings CastleGorakk for the Old School ending Notes… Matt Sydal was well enough to be featured in these prestigious videos so don’t worry. I disagree with people comparing him to The Shockmaster as he wasn’t dressed ridiculously and has over fifteen years of impressive matches…but so far it’s the contender for Botch Of The Year 2020. Deliberately not showing Matt Hardy’s horrific moment will probably not stop people from asking for it. Botchamania isn’t a role model for morality but I’m not going to include things like this as much as possible. “yeah but you included (insert something I shouldn’t have included) in the past” i hear you type and you’re right. I have sucked and do my best to not suck. Ditto for Cedric pinning Ricochet with a two-count so they could end the match ASAP when Ivar got injured. All Out had some highlights (Omega/Page storyline, MJF, Rosa) but there were so many negatives th

No table moments this episode because there weren’t any available but Roman’s I AM THE HEAD OF THE TABLE is custom-fit for it. I know there’s been three (THREE) matches on WWE TV to end prematurely (Mickie vs. Asuka, Hurt Business vs. Viking Raiders and A & A, last night’s Street Profits vs. A & A) but i’m only using the Asuka one for the “ha Mickie’s acting was so good it tricked the ref” because I try and avoid real injuries. The Ivelisse vs. Thunder Rosa match may have turned into SUPER-SHOOT MEGA-REAL but they edited so much of it out that the only remarkable bit of the match was the indifferent hold during the picture-in-picture. I don’t know what’s going on with the two of them but Ivelisse completely blanking out during the tag rematch the following week was amazing. And if those weren’t good enough, there was also Miro’s in-ring debut to enjoy because after months of nothing, the botch dam has been struck open and it’s spraying bad wrestling everywhere, hoorayyyy. But at the same time Clash of Champions was way better than expected, mostly thanks to TOPLESS ROMAN.

Notes... I'm always cautious about including any tribute to a wrestler because Botchamania is seen as an important thing to some and direspectful to others, but hopefully regardless of your viewpoint you'll understand there's nothing but love intended here. I've made more of an attempt to mix up the WWE clips with other companies to avoid those pesky copyright issues which are more likely to pop up when the clips are together. I love WHANG's work and was flattered he responded positively to my DM when he could have easily told me to piss off. The site is back-up but uhhhh it's reverted back to 2016 for some reason. It's being worked on though so fingers crossed. Until then, it's no secret 2020 has been fucking shit but I have to admit that making Botchamania has been one of the anchors to keep me sane during all this and I hope in some small way it's helped whoever is reading this.

Despite watching a shit-load of wrestling this week, I don’t have enough good clips for a proper Botchamania so here’s a look at the Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday PPVs from 2004-2008 instead. Music… “Cruis’n Shuffle” by Uncle & the Bacon Vote or Die by South Park Turd or Douche by South Park On paper, these fan-voted PPVs were a good idea that ended up offering little in the way of interesting matches or choices and usually ended up as ”so your choices are normal match, submission match or NO HOLDS BARRED STREET FIGHT, go ahead and pick any match you feel like NO HOLDS BARRED voting for.” It rarely felt like a feud was getting settled and more like dragging something along and shoving a gimmick into it to squeeze every drop out of what’s left. Cyber Sunday 2006 and it’s WWE Champ vs. World Champ vs. ECW Champ triple threat match had even the bairns watching their first wrestling show go ”well there’s no way any title’s changing hands in this”. If it hadn’t been for December To Dismember that year, Cyber Sunday would have walked away with the title of Shittiest PPV Of The Year 2006 easily. It wasn’t all doom, gloom and Vader falling over though. Edge losing the public vote to HBK for a World Title match against HHH was the start of Edge’s glorious prick run, turning on the fans for picking injured HBK over healthy Edge and then interfering in the match to make sure he really didn’t win was gold. Also, bizarre as it sounds (and looks) Snitsky looked like the beast WWE wanted him to be in his match with Kane on Taboo Tuesday 2004. He won the match, broke a chair over Kane’s throat which caused him to spit up blood and then knocked over the stretcher sent out to help him. If it hadn’t been for the whole baby-killing thing Gene may have been something. Also King Booker trying to get Cena to team up with him against Show and accepting Cena’s demand of one night with his wife is great comedy, only upstaged by the I J

The Network version of Rumble 2001 is the unedited version so you can see Jeff and Matt fuck up everything at the start of the 2001 Rumble. But Rumble 2004 *is* edited so my plan of showcasing the unedited Batista vs. Evolution tables match went unrealised. This is the shit that keeps me up at night. (For some reason this was never posted on the site. Christ knows what that was about) Three years in the making… I always said I’d make this video, but only after the guy left. Well, the original Sin Cara (Mistico) officially departed WWE this year on March 26th. Looks like they’re keeping the gimmick so the time is right for the long-awaited SinCaraMania. Amazing that the character was intended as a Mysterio replacement but despite a brief Bobby-Lashley-esque push, ended up in pre-recorded SmackDown land because he couldn’t be trusted to wrestle WWE-style. They must have forgotten Rey spent multiple years in WCW, getting used to working guys like Nash and Norton before WWE grabbed him. Rey also had MOTYC and feuds because he was against Angle, Edge, Jericho, Punk etc. Sin Cara feuded with Hunico for a bit, sort-of feuded with The Rhodes Scholars and got beat up by Del Rio every few weeks. Not quite the same, is it? It didn’t help that everything that could go wrong did go wrong in his first year. Injuries, wellness policy violation, fucking up his entrance, bungling his debut and not being allowed on any live show is pretty much a full line on the Botch Bingo Card. He’s still around in spirit (like Starscream after being blasted by Unicron) so let’s not rule out the possibility of a second video in 2017. Music… My Sacrifice by Creed Sin Cara Theme by SHINING WIZADO Pizza Theme by Spider-Man 2 Boss 1 by Fumito Tamayama (Tamachan) (Decap Attack) Leave The Memories Alone by Fuel Thanks To… The miscellaneous creators of the Spider-Man as Sin Cara images. Ah, Khali. It was weird to re-watch some 2006 for this video and be reminded how well booked he originally was. Beating The Undertaker with one foot on his chest, stealing Cena’s title and having everyone bump off like him like similar magnets trying to come together would make anyone look good. Maybe if he’d arrived during a different period of history he would have continued to look this good, he would have left after a loss, go elsewhere, come back etc. Instead, he hung out for eight years and everyone quickly turned on him when they realised he moved around like Hank Hill’s dad. So making this video was a fun challenge, as he botch that much. As it’s hard to mess anything up when you’re incapable of doing anything. Which sounds like good advice for staying employed, actually. Music… Your Feets Too Big by Leon Redbone Title Theme Yoshi by Kazumi Totaka (Mario Paint) Giving the devil is due, here’s some decent Khali matches to watch: vs. Undertaker, Last Man Standing (Smackdown 2006) vs. John Cena (Judgement Day 2007) vs. John Cena (Extreme Rules 2007) vs. Triple H (Summerslam 2008)

Let's All Laugh At The Hardys The Hardys are wrestling at TNA's next real PPV and they were apparently left alone to film their own video to hype it. Opinion is split on whether or not it's supposed to be trying to be one of the worst segments (in terms of production, audio and everything else) in the history of wrestling. One side argues ''it's so bad they have to be in on it, nobody can make something that bad and not know'' and the other argues ''if that's the case, how the fuck is that supposed to sell tickets?'' Make up your own mind, but I think everyone's in agreement: It's a must-see. Included in the video is the full ''Director's Cut'' (their words, not mind) from TNA's YouTube, EC3 and other TNA wrestlers' own parody of it and some silly endings. Thanks To... Kenady16, SenorLariato & Wrestling Memes for the endings and suggestions. Warning: I'm not to be blamed for shouting ''BROTHER NEROOOO'' all day after watching this video.

Gash Of The Champions. A collection of crap from COTCs 1-10. The first few are easily the best as they’re being used to sabotage Vince as best as possible. Wrestling doesn’t get much better than COTC VI (Steamboat vs. Flair) or IX (Flair vs. Funk). But you’ve got to take the good with the bad, especially with Dusty Rhodes in charge. The Ding Dongs, Jack Victory under several different masks and Steven ”Jobber who got a 17 minute match” Casey. So if you think this vid is full of crap, just wait until the next ones…

It ended up being ”stuff you wouldn’t see in nearby XPW, CZW, ROH or JAPW” which meant Legends who couldn’t do anything but blade, your least favourite ECW guys (Pitbull #1, Jason Knight, Chad Austin etc.) and tits (Jasmine St. Claire). Which doesn’t sound that bad on paper, but with endless Todd Gordon segments, no direction and horrible commentary, the highlights were sparse. In fairness, Matt Striker, Joey Matthews and Rob Eckos all excelled in the company and looked like stars from the get-go. 3PW became known later on for the problems caused by Jasmine St. Claire and others. Here’s a brief list of 3PW Follies: Year End Mayhem… -Bam Bam Bigelow apologised to fans after his match with Abdullah The Butcher. -Syxx-Pac apologised for not being 100% for the second show in a row. Life sucks. ”But you already knew that.” Music… In the Crane Game by Konami Kukeiha Club (Parodius Da! -Shinwa kara Owarai e-) Del Rio is the poster child for the PG era of WWE booking where only Cena, Orton and very occasionally Bryan and Punk are headliners and everyone is just making up the numbers, even former world champions. Del Rio made his debut after a series of cool vignettes and made an immediate impression by beating up Rey Mysterio. He was a new, amusing and cool guy at the time and a breath of fresh air…until it became apparent he only had three lines of dialogue and WWE didn’t have any creative ideas for him. He’s a rich guy and the only thing they do with him to show he’s rich is have him drive a new car every show. He wasn’t bribing any officials or paying people to lose to him or doing anything to do with wrestling with money. So in short, he was a rich guy but it didn’t mean anything. So why bother? The whole gimmick felt like Vince McMahon went ”you know what’ll be funny? A RICH MEXICAN!” in a booking meeting and nobody had the balls to object to it. I fully expect to have RICH INDIAN Khali on The Main Event now ADR’s gone, just so Vince can laugh to himself. ”HE’S AN INDIAN…WHO’S RICH! HAHAHAHAAH!” and then he’ll go and watch The Shaggy D.A. for the fifteenth time. So ADR lost a lot of steam by the time he won MITB and confused everyone by sticking his oar in and cashing in the shot against CM Punk in the middle of the Summer of Punk angle. He immediately lost the title to Cena at the next PPV and won it again in a triple threat match at HIAC before losing it to Punk at Survivor Series 2011. Everyone was excited for Punk and the Cena/WWE feud…and now WWE decided was the moment to pull the trigger and have ADR win a title or two. People were paid money to write this shit. ADR became a part of the scenery and feuded with Sheamus for about five years. The worst part about his whole st

Hey Windjammers! Wanted to say SO LONG AND FAIR WELL to the horrible year known as 2021 with a free recap of just the endings from the Botchamania episodes released this year (426-446) to see if this was a thing that people wanted to see! Also while I'm here: This compilation is a bit of a stop-gap as Christmas/New Year ended up being busier than I thought but the Top Ten Botches Of The Year 2021 video is in development, it just got in the way of the ugly world of life. But it goes without saying that the AEW Failed Explosion is #1 but it would be good to listen to your suggestions for the remaining numbers (Roman Reigns getting legit stuck during the Last Man Standing match against Kevin Owens, Adnan's three week run, the women's gauntlet match at Wrestlemania, Eva Marie's trip, Cody Rhodes in general etc.) If you don't want to make your opinions heard that's fine, I just wanted to use this time to say thanks again for your continued support and hope you're doing well and drinking
