舟を編む 〜私、辞書つくります〜

大人気ファッション誌の編集部員・岸辺みどり。雑誌の廃刊が決まり、突如異動になった先は辞書編集部！そこは、ぼさぼさ頭で超がつくほどの生真面目上司・馬締光也を筆頭に、くせ者ぞろい。みどりは、彼らに翻弄されながらも、一冊の辞書を作るために十数年間に及ぶ時間と手間をかける根気と熱意に触発され、次第に自らも言葉の魅力を発見、辞書編さんの仕事にのめり込んでいく。辞書「大渡海」を完成させるまでの、辞書編集部員たちの奮闘物語。
