Keaton attempts to rescue an artist forced to paint forgeries who has been held hostage in a house by his extreme shortsightedness and his shattered confidence.
画商のフェリスに監禁され、贋作を描かされている画家のダグラスを助け出そうとしたキートンだが、モリスに捕らえられてしまう。再度脱出を試みるキートンに対し、ダグラスは逃げる気がないと言う。
