Hosted by Bob Barker and Helen O'Connell and held in Dorado, Puerto Rico - This is the 21st Miss Universe pageant. There are 61 contestants this year, but only one will be the winner. The judges have voted and Kerry Anne Wells from Australia is crowned Miss Universe 1972.
