Smile, by Charlie Chaplin

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square perform, "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin, and arranged by Sam Cardon. "Smile" began as an instrumental track written by Charlie Chaplin himself, for his movie "Modern Times" in 1936 and was used in the movie's soundtrack. In 1954, lyricists John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added the lyrics and title. That same year Nat King Cole recorded the first version with lyrics.
