Almeida is one of the Seven Galaxy Generals. He took over the planet Gunrock. There, the people were forced to work in the mines, digging up crystals. The Galaxy Triumvirate convinced him to battle against Rei, saying that if he could get the compass for Miroku, he would be promoted. They didn't tell him that Rei was an ultimate user, though.
