Everyone says that being a mom changes your life, but it completely transformed Roxi. In search of a pair of terrycloth socks (a ridiculous new request for a garden activity for her daughter's garden), Roxi tours and presents her world as a collapsed urban mother. A possible bronchospasm further complicates her schedule and confronts her with one of her most feared enemies: the home doctor.
Clarita is once again the victim of a virus. Roxi must start her "Show of Cancellations" and suspend all her commitments to stay at her house, accompanying her daughter, checking symptoms and eating everything she finds in her path…. A confinement that makes her feel like a participant in Big Brother… Roxi, to the confessional.
A mother's life is full of events that test her patience. While Roxi was never patient, there is one event in particular that can lead to a nervous breakdown: the parents' meeting. The excessive, colorful and bizarre Jardín del Brote brings together a community of characters passionate about parenting to discuss a controversial excursion, when everyone should be working. Roxi feels like she has something choked that she wants to say. Will she cheer up? Will they let her talk about it?
The moms in the garden pressure Roxi to solve situations for which she still does not feel ready. Roxi feels pushed to advance boxes in the "Game of Life", and in a night of wine and guitar playing she longs for her rustic childhood devoid of excesses. And she wonders if it is possible today to raise children rescuing something from those times.
From the living room of two, Clarita suffers the mistreatment of the leader of her group. Roxi and Fabián suffer the situation in the psychoanalyzed and urban family style: they ask questions, suffer in silence and do not intervene. Until a bribery request to enter the sandbox ends up exhausting her patience and Roxi, tired of being a "progressive mommy", faces Luciana's mother in the supermarket as a "common mommy" would. She then discovers that her life is an unnecessary suffering and she develops a theory about the types of moms that leads her to teach at the University: The Roxi Chair.
Worried that Clarita keeps getting sick, Roxi once again falls into the trap of accepting advice from the moms at the garden gate that leads her to undergo a consultation with the prestigious anthroposophical-homeopath "doctor" Pepe Friedman. An example of how the solution can be transformed into a worse problem.
“People” think that Roxi needs to de-stress, get out of town, change the air, lower a gear. But between the overexcitement generated by the extra-everyday plans, the anxiety of packing suitcases and the certainty that Clarita, like her, will always get sick when she reaches her destination, her plan is not attractive at all. Is it really stressful to go to the beach for two days with a little girl?
Preserving and sustaining intimate spaces when children are young is one of the greatest challenges of parenthood. Of course, the very incorrect Roxi and Fabián fail to the point of not being able to maintain a minimum dialogue without being bombarded by Clarita's toys, that she also goes to her bed every night. Her friend Vero takes pity on the situation and "trains" them to try to regain privacy.
Fabián and Roxi want to go to the conference of Susan Charter, an intellectual they have followed since their youth, but they have no one to take care of Clarita.
