Helene (Joan Collins) is reunited with her brother Edmund (Timothy Dalton) and settles into married life with American composer Eric Hovland (Gene Kelly), while striving to bring former Gestapo officer Von Eiderfeld (Steven Berkoff) to justice for his war crimes.
