The season premiere starts with celebrities from season one and two of celebrity rehab. Jennifer Gimenez, the manager, introduces each of the addicts into a sober living house and shows them the rules. Steven Adler comes to the house not only high, but bringing heroin.
It's day two of sober living and the housemates discuss Steven's relapse. Jenn throws a BBQ forf the house and their loved ones and the results are disastrous as Steven continues to get high and clash with Jenn.
Steven is caught using heroin and is arrested for possession
Dr. Drew tells the housemates that Steven can return to the sober house, but only if Jennifer allows it.
Amber suffers a relapse as she drinks at a party. Jenn takes Rodney, Nikki and Mary surfing. Seth disappears and only communicates from his video blog where it appears that he may be high.
Seth is still missing and the residents are very worried about him. Seth has a cardiac arrest but leaves the hospital. Seth finally turns to Dr. Drew. Also, Rodney remembers the beating incident
It's day 18 in the Sober House and the cast await the return of Seth after his relapse. Mary talks to Dr. Drew about her future as a dancer and later has reservations about attending Swingfest with boyfriend, David. Nikki deals with the anniversary of her mom's death and other emotional problems as she tries to record a new song.
There are only a few days left at the Sober House. Mary returns from Swingfest and comes through with a clean test for drugs. Andy tackles making amends to the people he has hurt in the past. Rodney takes steps to begin living in his own sober living environment.
It's the final week in the sober house as the cast gets ready to move on. Steven must be held accountable for his drug possession charge. Rodney fixes up his house to become a sober living environment. Andy makes amends to his son. The last night, the friends share a nice dinner together and say farewell.
The residents arrive for the first day of sober living and meet the returning house manager, Jennifer Gimenez. Jennifer finds an old speed pipe in Tom's bag and must drug test him. Dennis challenges Jennifer's authority and refuses to sign the rules of the house and an argumentative Kari Ann is allowed to stay after testing positive for methamphetamine. Dr. Drew and Bob arrive and explain to the residents what they can expect over the next 21 days of sober living.
Kari Ann struggles with some personal drama, while Dr. Drew receives a distress call from Seth Binzer.
The residents take to the streets for their first night out in Hollywood, but when the curfew clock strikes midnight, and no one has returned, an angry Jennifer prepares for the worst.
The residents deal with the consequences of being out late and missing curfew the previous night.
Jennifer Gimenez takes the residents rappelling off waterfalls, but her good intentions crumble when Jenny's obsessive enthusiasm drives everyone crazy, especially Kendra.
Jennifer lectures the group about the slovenly state of the house and the apathy of the residents.
One of Dr. Drew's staff members from the Pasadena Recovery Center, Loesha Zeviar, joins house manager Jennifer at the Sober House, providing some much needed relief.
The residents pack up and say goodbye to one another after twenty-one days of sober living.
