Diesmal hat Blob, der Chef der Upneys einen Plan, um für seinen Meister Zordrak den Traumstein zu stehlen. Dafür bringt er zunächst mit Nag und Frizz, seinen Gehilfen Upgors Wühlmobil in seinen Besitz. Mit dieser Maschine gelangen die drei beinahe unbemerkt ins Land der Träume. Allerdings hat Pildit, der Wut, ein wachsames Auge und die Eindringlinge entdeckt. Diesmal hat auch Rufus eine besondere Idee: er erschafft einen zwar identisch aussehenden, letztlich aber wertlosen Traumstein. Die Upneys bringen diesen in ihren Besitz und müssen zwischendurch jedoch noch eine Phantasiereise bestehen, die der Traummacher sich ausgedacht hat …
Determined to win Zordrak's approval, Sergeant Blob, Frizz and Nug steal Urpgor's Mean Mole machine and drill their way to the Land of Dreams, but on arrival, they are quickly spotted by Pildit, who alerts The Dream Maker in time.
