  • S2015E13 Did Carl Die? (Up Theory)

    • June 1, 2015

Today we talk about my favorite Pixar Movie, Up! Did Carl really die? Is Up about the afterlife? Lets find out! A special note to all those people saying: "if this is the afterlife, then why isn't Ellie there?" Well, Ellie and the House symbolizes Carl's attachment to the physical world; that is why only after he lets both of them go is he happy. Because Carl let go of Ellie and excepted that Ellie is gone, Carl no longer needs Ellie in his life and he moves on to his true desire, a son, in heaven. 50,000 Subs Special Soon! For those saying: "couldn't a dragon just possess electric producing organs similar to an electric eel?" you are mistaken. There is a difference between electricity and an electric spark. An electric spark is an abrupt electrical discharge that occurs when a sufficiently high electric field creates an ionized, electrically conductivechannel through a normally-insulating medium, often a

  • S2015E28 Over the Garden Wall is Dante's Inferno (Symbolism Analysis)

    • November 9, 2015

Happy Late Halloween! This video took so long to make :/ But I am happy to make it! Animation/Cartoon Theory time again! Today we are wrapping up Over the Garden Wall. In this video I examine the symbolism, similarities, nods, and hints linking Over the Garden Wall to Dante's Divine Comedy. And there are so many hints, secrets, and Easter eggs to the Inferno! Over the Garden Wall is Dante's Inferno! So sit back and enjoy! I never meant that the entire series is only Dante's Inferno. I mean that Over the Garden Wall is an allegory for the Inferno, but does posses it's own original story, characters, and ect. Over the Garden Wall carries elements from the Inferno and definitely is an allegory to it, but Over the Garden Wall is not "just" the Inferno. It has a completely different theme and many other great things! Ignore my statement in the video saying "OGW is just Dantes Inferno", because it's not. I meant to say that the series uses the Inferno as a basis and builds off of that base. OGW is an amazing work of art and I am not saying there is nothing but my interpretation in the series. There are many different interpretations one can arrive at while watching OGW and mine is not the only one. Also Thank you for 100,000 subscribers! Special coming soon! • S2016E17 What are Gems? (Scientific Analysis)

    • August 13, 2016

Today I go back to my roots! We are looking at the fictional race of aliens from the animated TV Show, Steven Universe: the Crystal Gems! I will try to classify their culture as well as their anatomy, traits, and bodies through scientific examination and speculation! I will try to answer questions like: What are they made out of? What don’t they need to eat? How do they work? Are they robots? And lastly: What they really are? By using Science!!! We talk about everything from the Kardashev scale, to nanomachines, aliens, to, surprisingly, crystals! Hope you enjoy! Let me clarify: My theory might not fit the show 100% entirely, as it should. My theory is simply a scientific speculation and classification of Gems as if they existed in our Universe and had to follow our Universe's laws and rules. Due to this, the very nature of a fictional show with fictional rules will most likely contradict my real life speculation in some aspects. Just remember, I'm trying my best and I understand Steven Universe has magical elements that might not fit within real life scientific explanations. A new video, finally! In this video I examine and evaluate the alleged evidence of pterosaurs and man coexisting in Black Dragon Canyon. In the canyon a petroglyph is said to depict one of these extinct flying reptiles. • S2017E05 Living Fossils, Evolution, and Cryptids

    • March 19, 2017

Sorry for the very long wait! I’m back babe and we are tackling a topic I’ve dealt with a lot of this channel: the evolutionary and cryptozoological relationships of living fossils with biology. Organisms like crocodilians and coelacanths are often called living fossils and everyone from creationists to cryptozoologists use them constantly to prove either dinosaur and man co-existence or to disprove evolution. Today, I plan on dispelling a lot of the confusion associated with this topic by looking at the actual scientific evidence. Hope you enjoy! New video on a cryptid! This time I discuss the "mystery" of the De Loys' Ape, a Bigfoot-like primate that was photographed deep within the jungles of South America and is claimed to be an undiscovered ape man. We will tackle the question on if this really is an undiscovered species or not. Additionally, I discuss the history of European and American exploration into the "undiscovered" jungles of South America in the early to mid 20th century such as Percy Fawcett's adventures. Hope you enjoy! Edit: No don't worry, I wasn't dissing David Attenborough at 3:28. I was doing the opposite, I was praising him for being a person that's probably actually worth of the title of being an "Indiana Jones". I love the guy and the other scientists I listed as they actually did contribute to scientific understanding unlike some of the other people I mention in this video. Is there any truth to this claim? You'll have to find out in this episode of Cryptid Profile! [Sorry for the weird flickering that sometimes pops up in the video, I tried to fix it but to no avail] Thank you to the artists I featured in this video! The ocean is a big place. In this video, I will discuss the true story of naturalist William Beebe's encounter with large and mysterious creatures from the abyss and offer explanations for the incident. Take a deep breath and don't touch those fish because this will be a deep dive into the curious case of the Untouchable Bathysphere fish of 1932 - likely one of the most plausible cryptids out there.
