Vanilla Ice arrives in Amish country and says goodbye to modern conveniences as he settles into his new life on the farm with his Amish host John. After an early morning wake up call, and a rigorous round of shoveling manure, Ice joins his Amish construction crew to begin renovating an outdated kitchen for a devout Amish family experiencing some hardship.
John assigns Vanilla Ice to a backyard patio project and relies on him to bring his Florida design talents to this bleak Ohio yard. Working hard to win over his new Amish crew, led by 19-year-old foreman Kevin, he learns first-hand about their work ethic while teaching them a few tricks and rhymes of his own.
John wants Vanillia Ice's help on his next big project - a Mennonite family's basement that's in desperate need of an update. The Amish know craftsmanship and Rob knows how to rock out an entertainment space, so together they transform the dungeon-like basement into a modern, zen family room.
Vanilla Ice and co-worker Mel come up with a plan for a fantastic facelift to the hilltop house - including new windows, an extended patio with awning, decorative cultured stone and low maintenance landscaping that Mel and is wife can handle with minimal effort. Meanwhile Vanilla Ice 'ices out' his very own Amish buggy, turning quite a few heads when he rolls up on the job site.
When John heads out of town for a horse auction, Vanilla Ice asks to work with Robert on a neighbor's barn renovation - an excellent opportunity to give back to the community that has given him so much. Knowing they'll need all the manpower they can get, Rob brings in his own team from Florida while Robert rallies all the familiar Amish faces to join forces in an old-fashioned barn raising.
Vanilla Ice returns to Ohio to help his Amish ninjas design and build a year-round hunting cabin. Back at John's farm, Rob's chores include an early morning pig stall-cleaning and a showdown with a Billy goat. The episode ends when John challenges Rob to another shootout for a chance to win his buggy back.
John sends Vanilla Ice and Albert to help out Mose, an Amish friend whose poor health keeps him from renovating the exterior of his hundred year old home. To thank Rob for the makeover, Mose invites him for breakfast and an Amish delicacy called coffee soup.
Vanilla Ice works with his new Amish Ninja Leon to build a master bedroom and bathroom retreat for a New Order Amish family. When Rob's not bringing the bling inside the house, he plays some Amish games with the Miller's seven young kids.
Vanilla Ice and the Winesburg crew are hired to customize an outdoor space for a Mennonite family including a thermal-controlled conservatory and a color-infused stamped-concrete patio. The chores are never ending on the farm, and Rob gives plowing a try...the Amish way.
Vanilla Ice and Melvin check out a horse that Jon may want to buy. But curiosity gets the best of the boys and a buggy race ensues. After Rob and Mel head to see some familiar faces and help the family with a punch list of projects including bedrooms for the kids and a windmill.
Rob's getting ready to head back to Florida but wants to do something to thank his Amish hosts. When Kevin tells him about a popular community center baseball field that has no place for folks to hang out, Rob and the team go to work on bleachers and a concession stand built on an old Amish horse wagon.
