Life would be rosy for Wally and Lil Briggs if it wasn't for Wally's brother, Benny, who prefers to spend Wally's wages rather than earn any of his own. He doesn't think twice before breaking into their home with a bird!
Benny's plan to move in with his brother is given the cold shoulder by Lil who is not keen on having a non-paying guest in the house.
Benny causes an accident after borrowing Lil's TV set and leaving the wires trailing across the living room floor. Lil is confined to bed after tripping over the wires and Benny's penance is to do the housework for her until she recovers.
