故事的主人公朱小强是一个打不死的小强。曾经是一名优秀军人的他，执行任务受伤失忆后，回到了普通人的生活。但是他依然努力的工作，尽责的照顾家人，勇敢的面对自己。他为国家和家人付出一切无怨无悔，国家和亲人们也给予了他从物质到精神的无限关爱。最终他找回了自己的一切，又义无反顾的站在了对敌斗争的第一线。主人公作为和平年代中的退伍军人形象，体现了充满自我牺牲精神的援助人道主义精神，呈现了我国军警人员奋不顾身守护国民生命安全的决心，表达了主旋律、正义、铁血柔情等的主题
