Valerie Bertinelli stars as Sydney Kells, a Los Angeles PI, whose main source of work comes from an uptight lawyer with whom she shares sexual chemistry. Along for the ride are her brother Billy - an over-protective rookie cop, her best friend Jill, a snitch named Perry, a guy named Cheezy, and Ray, a retired cop who runs the neighborhood bar they all frequent.
