叶子考入美术学院，阴差阳错间与校园风云人物向泽弈结缘，自此她原本平凡的生活变得与众不同。一开始两人显得格格不入，矛盾频发，在经历种种事件后，互生情愫，然而就在两人的爱情水到渠成时，一场意外发生，向泽弈因失手重伤他人而入狱，对于叶子只能不告而别，叶子四处找寻，毫无所获。毕业后，向泽弈出狱，鼓足勇气重新出现在叶子面前，而此时叶子身边已经有了青梅竹马的林森的陪伴。向泽弈告知叶子当年事件真相，两人解除误会，重新走到了一起 [3] 。
