Kidou Keiji Jiban (機動刑事ジバン Kidō Keiji Jiban?, Robot Police Jiban) is a Japanese tokusatsu television series; part of the Metal Hero Series produced by Toei, aired by TV Asahi in Japan from January 29, 1989 to January 28, 1990 with 52 episodes and a feature movie aired on July 17, 1989. It is considered the first Metal Hero Series of the Heisei Period due to the death of Emperor Hirohito occuring during its run.

Naoto, un comisionado de policía de Ciudad Central, estando en servicio es asesinado por un agente del sindicato del mal "Bioron". Tiempo después, el Dr. Kenzou Igarashi, cuyos experimentos fueron responsables de la existencia de Bioron, resucitó a Naoto como un detective robot, Jiban. Desde entonces Jiban lucha diariamente por la justicia, y específicamente por la destrucción de Bioron.
