Prince Jorudi with his brother Hai Sharutatto are fighting against their father, Madaru, with his evil world domination ambition using giant robots. However, both Prince Jorudi and his brother's goal might not be the same even though they are both fighting their father, a tryrant. While Prince Jorudi goals is to save the world from his father ambition, Hai Sharutatto plans to take over his father's place and therefore he sees Jorudi and their sister, Chururu as nothing but rivals. Legend tells of a mysterious avenger, known as the Iron Giant will overthrow the tyrant.
数ある銀河のひとつ"クレセント大銀河"の"イラスタント太陽系"第五惑星"アースト"。その辺境の国、3000年の歴史を誇る"ボーダー王国"に世継となる赤ん坊、ジョルディ・ボーダーが誕生した。しかし、王子誕生に沸く城は征服王マーダルの手によって崩壊、王は命を落とし、王妃フェリアは捕えられてしまう。しかし、ジョルディは重臣アズベスの手によって辛うじて落ち延びる。
惨劇から12年の月日が流れ、アズベスの孫として育てられたジョルディは、伝説の"鉄巨人ガリアン"を求めて遍歴の旅を続け、マーダルに反抗する勢力が結集する"白い谷"に流れ着く。谷の長、ダルタスの娘チュルルの案内によって捜し求めるガリアンを見つけ出したジョルディは、ガリアンに乗り迫り来るマーダル軍と戦う。
행성 아스트의 보더 왕국은 어느 날 거대한 인간형 병기 기갑병들을 몰고 나타난 정복자 마달에 의해 멸망당하고 만다.
살아남은 왕자 죠르디 보더는 자신을 길러 준 충신 아즈베스의 손자 죠죠로서 신분을 감춘 채 성장해 나가면서 마달과 맞서기 위해 전설의 철거인을 찾고, 그러한 여정 도중 마달에 대항하는 사람들이 모인 하얀 계곡으로 들어간다.
이후 마달의 기갑병들이 하얀 계곡을 공격해오자 죠죠는 동굴 속에 거인이 있다는 하얀 계곡의 소녀 츄루루의 말에 이끌려 따라간 곳에서 마침내 가리안을 발견, 가리안의 힘으로 하얀 계곡에 쳐들어온 마달의 군대를 물리친다.
죠죠는 가리안을 타고 수수께끼의 소녀 히르무카의 도움 속에 마달의 기갑병들과 계속 싸워 나간다.
El príncipe Jorudi y su hermano Hai Sharutatto luchan contra su padre, Madaru, quien ambiciona la dominación mundial mediante robots gigantes. Sin embargo, aunque ambos combaten a su padre, un tirano, sus objetivos podrían no ser los mismos. Mientras que el príncipe Jorudi busca salvar al mundo de la ambición paterna, Hai Sharutatto planea usurpar su lugar y, por lo tanto, ve a Jorudi y a su hermana Chururu como meros rivales. La leyenda cuenta que un misterioso vengador, conocido como el Gigante de Hierro, derrocará al tirano.
