Cat Deeley interviewed U2 for the ITV special, U2 Uncovered, backstage in Manchester on the British leg of their world tour. With an access all areas pass, Cat gained exclusive interviews with the band between sets onstage, allowing viewers to see the band in their element as they prepared for the ultimate high; performing live in front of thousands. Talking to Cat, Bono and the band reflected on their metamorphosis from pop band into a phenomenon that has impacted on much of the western world, both musically and politically.
