2026年8月、富士演習場―― 名取トウコが所属する私立東都防衛学院中等部三年二組は、担当教官である神谷指導のもと、夏季総合演習の最中にあった。 その過酷な訓練も、いよいよ最終日。 トウコたちを労う神谷は、「最新兵器研究」と題した“課外授業”を提案する。 そして……事件は起こる。 何者かによる突然の襲撃。 響き渡る銃声、怒号、断末魔、血の海に崩れ落ちる――。 前代未聞の事件をきっかけに世間から「武装中学生」と揶揄される15歳の少年少女たち。 そんな少年少女たちの未来を奪い去ろうと、襲撃者たちの影が忍び寄る……。
