Salvador Chaparro, a theater actor who always dreamed of reaching the movie screens, but never made it. However, his life reserved a good role for him, playing the well-known and powerful drug lord Vicente Vallejo, who hired him to fulfill the mission of outwitting the justice of his country, by supplanting him. In the alleged delivery, a high-powered bomb explodes, dozens of dead fill the stadium, but Salvador is saved and escapes from the site. The real Vallejo gives the order to his people to pursue him and finish him off.
