For the first time the Ju/Hoansi Bushmen travel through the Kalahari and then right into the heart of Europe. What starts as a look at their fascinating culture becomes an even more fascinating look at our Western lifestyle. Das Leben in der der Kalahari hat sich für die „Buschmänner“, das Volk der Ju/’Hoansi, verändert: die Jagd ist ihnen verboten worden, Farmerzäune durchziehen die vormals endlose Trockensavanne. Die einstigen Nomaden sind nun notgedrungen seßhaft und abhängig von staatlicher Zuwendung und Tourismus. Doch da ist auch die Neugier auf die Welt außerhalb des Reservats. Und so machen sich einige Ju/’Hoansi auf die Reise durch die Welt der „Anderen“ in Namibia und in das „Land der Geister“, unser modernes, hochtechnisiertes Europa.
