The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.

Brisco County Jr., Sohn eines berühmten Marschalls, ist ein ehemaliger Harvard-Anwalt, der sich der Kopfgeldjägerei zugewandt hat. Er ist auf der Jagd nach der berüchtigten „Bly-Bande“, die auch für die Ermordung seines Vaters verantwortlich ist. Begleitet wird Brisco von Lord Bowler, der einst sein Rivale war. Bei seiner Suche nach der Bande findet er eine goldene Kugel mit übernatürlichen Eigenschaften und verschiedene Weggefährten.

Brisco County, Jr. is a man seeking vengeance against the man who murdered his father. He becomes a bounty hunter although he was trained as a lawyer. Unfortunately his father's killer, John Bly, has his own criminal gang to keep Brisco at bay. But Brisco is aided by his own gang of sorts: dance hall girl extraordinaire Dixie Cousins, rival bounty hunter Lord Bowler, fellow lawyer Socrates Poole and scientist Professor Wickwire. Although the series was set in the Old West, Brisco had an assortment of nifty "modern" gadgets and then there were the mysterious "Orbs" scattered about which almost seemed to have supernatural powers.

Veijari nimeltä Brisco (The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.) on yhdysvaltalainen vuosina 1993–1994 tuotettu seikkailuwestern-televisiosarja. Sarjan pääosissa ovat Bruce Campbell, Julius Carry, Kelly Rutherford sekä Christian Clemenson. Suomessa sarjaa esitti YLE TV2. Sarjan pilottijakso on elokuvan mittainen. Sarja kertoo paikallisten ryöväriparoneiden palkkaamasta palkkionmetsästäjästä, Harvardin yliopistosta valmistuneesta Brisco County Juniorista (Campbell), jonka tehtävänä on etsiä käsiinsä John Blyn rikollisjoukko. Tarinan sankarilla on myös henkilökohtainen tavoite: saattaa John Bly tuomiolle oman isänsä, sheriffi Brisco Countyn murhasta. Countyn joukkoon liittyy myös palkkionmetsästäjä Lord Bowler (Carry), sekä ryöväriparoneiden käsikassarana ja yhteyshenkilönä toimiva lakimies Socrates Poole (Clemenson). Seikkailujensa lomassa County törmää useamman kerran outoon kultaiseen palloon, jota tavoittelevat paitsi ryöväriparonit ja John Bly, myös Yhdysvaltain hallitus.

La serie narra las aventuras de Brisco County Jr., hijo del famoso sherrif. El padre de Brisco fue asesinado por John Bly durante su fuga, un villano jefe de una banda de criminales, y su conexion con un conjunto de misteriosas Esferas. Brisco, cazarrecompensas y abogado, jura volver a poner a Bly entre rejas. En su momento se descubre que Bly era un criminal del futuro que habia viajado en el tiempo para hacerse con las Esferas. Bly sera derrotado definitivamente, y Brisco empezara a trabajar como agente para el gobierno de los E.E.U.U.. Brisco obtendra ayuda en sus andanzas de un nutrido grupo de personajes, incluyendo a la descarada e inteligente bailarina Dixie Cousins, el cazarrecompensas rival y finalmente amigo y compañero Lord Bowler, el abogado Socrates Poole, el excentrico Profesor Wickwire, y muchos otros.
