Paul, an ER nurse, who is expecting a baby with his wife, is forced to team up with a career criminal when she is kidnapped and ransomed by the man's brother. Together, they must battle against corrupt police officers, gangs, and thugs as they attempt to make the trade and find a way to bring her home.
