A Cinderella Story est une comédie romantique américaine réalisée en 2004 par Mark Rosman, écrite par Leigh Dunlap et interprétée par Hilary Duff, Chad Michael Murray, Jennifer Coolidge et Regina King. Modernisant le classique folklore de Cendrillon, l'intrigue du film tourne autour de deux correspondants sur Internet qui prévoient de se rencontrer en personne au bal d'Halloween de leur lycée. Le film a été suivi de quatre suites en vidéo directe, Another Cinderella Story (2008), A Cinderella Story : Once Upon a Song (2011), A Cinderella Story : If the Shoe Fits (2016), A Cinderella Story : (2016), A Cinderella Story : Christmas Wish (2019), et A Cinderella Story : A Cinderella Story : Souhait de Noël (2019). Les suites utilisent les thèmes et les situations mais ne contiennent aucun des personnages du premier film. Contrairement au premier film, les suites comprennent également des thèmes musicaux, de danse et de vacances.
