Péter Sóvári is a successful actor and a great womanizer. The outbursted director Lajos Borsai also likes playboy life, but is in a catastrophic financial situation. He wants to remedy this by trying to win over a Mexican soap opera magnate, Dulcinea de la Rosa, to be his wife and part of a soap opera. The path of a successful actor and a director with a shortage of money intersects when they both fall in love with the star Violet.
