Events depicted include the passing of the UK Slavery Abolition Act in 1833; the lynching of Emmett Till in 1955; the release of Motown's first No. 1 single in 1961; Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech in 1963; the landfall of Hurricane Katrina in 2005; and Barack Obama's acceptance speech as Democratic nomination for president in 2008.
