After the death of her rich husband, Margareth De Lorca receives a visit from Edith Philips, her twin sister, whom she has not seen for eighteen years because of a love conflict that confronted them. Margareth offers financial help, as she is in a delicate situation, but Edith rejects her and, driven by hatred, begins to hatch a sinister plan to assumes her sister's identity.
