고향 이슬어지에서 함께 자라난 현세(황인성), 은서(강수연), 완(김승우)은 성인이 된 후 은서를 사이에 둔 삼각관계가 된다. 그러나 은서의 시선은 언제부터인가 완을 향하게 되고, 현세는 그런 은서를 그리워한다. 시간이 흘러 서울에서 대학생활을 시작한 은서와 현세는 각각 바이올린과 미술을 전공하며 행복한 나날을 보낸다. 그러나 종적을 감췄던 완이 다시 이들 앞에 나타나면서 불행이 시작된다. (임재원)
