Um grupo de estudantes universitários de Lisboa organiza um encontro secreto no interior do país. Na ânsia de obter um estatuto superior e aceder ao verdadeiro conhecimento, os estudantes submetem-se a estranhos rituais inventados pelo seu líder, o obscuro Dux.
