This short little cartoon is based on the popular song by Jack Rollins & Steve Nelson, first recorded in 1950 by Gene Autry as his follow-up to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The following year Castle Films produced this short. It ran as Part of The Bozo Show & starting in 1954 was shown annually the week before Christmas every year until the show ended in 1995.
