Don Murray stars as a production executive for a television talk show who tries to track down a movie star of yesteryear. William Martin (Don Murray) leaves his girlfriend Paula (Loraine Stephens) in New York and flies fo Hollywood to try to locate Carolyn Parker (Gloria Grahame), who was a popular rising movie actress in the early '50's. Carolyn virtually has disappeared from public life and Martin wants her on his talk show to update the world on what has happened to her.
